USING THE CORRECT FINGER:
Each finger has a specific job to do. Using the same finger for the
"same key all the time, will do wonders for improving your accuracy."
USING HOME KEYS:
"As you've learned, each time you type a character it's important to"
return each finger to its HOME BASE. Each key which is not a HOME key
is always found by remembering its location relative to a HOME key.
MEMORIZING THE KEY LOCATIONS:
As you type visualize each word as a set of key locations. Some people
even speak the letters as they type to help them memorize the key locations.
TRAINING YOUR FINGERS:
Typing may feel awkward and strenuous at first. Tired fingers make
more errors. Workouts and practice will make your fingers fit for action.
BALANCING SPEED AND ACCURACY:
Faster typing is sometimes rewarded with more errors. Working more
carefully on accuracy will naturally lead to a speed improvement.

USING ACCURACY IMPROVEMENT:
Becoming better at locating each key by touch will naturally allow you
to type faster.
USING GOOD FINGER MOVEMENT:
Keeping your fingers low on the keyboard and developing a smooth style
and consistent rhythm will do wonders for speed improvement.
TRAINING YOUR EYES:
Poor use of sight and mind will slow you down. Keeping your eyes on
the typing material and visually scanning a few words ahead are good
typing habits to acquire.
USING CHALLENGING PRACTICE SESSIONS:
Good practice sessions will get you faster. The lessons in this
"section, the typing tests and the LOBSTER SEA ADVENTURE provide"
a variety of material for you to become a speed whiz.
